Kite Flying — Lycos Speed Kite 2.5 meter

This is a Christopher Fokken’s Lycos 2.5 speed kite. It’s claimed to be the fastest soft kite on the planet attaining speeds of as much as 110 miles per hour as it screams across the sky even in medium winds. It gives a real workout in strong winds and I find myself in the middle of a field screaming at the top of my lungs having so much fun. I’ve broken two hundred pound test line and now use 300 pound test line!
